The Tropical Discoveries transatlantic cruise is adults only, this is at the end of the Mediterranean Cruise season so the ship moves to the Caribbean for the start of the Caribbean cruise season. This is your chance for a longer all inclusive transatlantic cruise at a cheap price; The itinerary is as follows

Day 1 on the Tropical Discoveries give plenty of time to discover Tenerife

Ships departs from Santa Cruz, in the north of Tenerife at midnight. This give the chance to explore the island. Tenerife has two separate climates; the north is lush and fertile, covered with glossy, green banana palms, while the south is scorched and desert-like with the shoreline enclosed by large holiday resorts. Many passengers leaving from Puerto de la Cruz enjoy the stylish promenade, good food and shopping.

Sightseeing in Las Palmas

Day 2 the Tropical Discoveries Cruise moves to Las Palmas from, docking at 08:00 – 23:00. Gran Canaria is the third-largest of the Canaries. Las Palmas, the capital, is an extremely nice port of call as it’s one of the world’s few cities that has everything within walking distance. There is a very good beach, Playa de las Canteras, 15 minutes’ walk from the dock.

An exotic, unusual and a magical Island, Cape Verde

After being at sea for two days, Day 5 of your 18 day Tropical Discoveries voyage takes you to Sao Vicente.The crystalline blue green waters of Cape Verde are ideal for snorkelling and scuba diving where you can see the beautiful multi-coloured fish and plant life. With great entertainment and food throughout Cape Verde, you must try the famous delicacies of the region such as the cachupa.  This is a delicious stew made of beans and fish and the local wines.

Three days at sea to before landing in Barbados

You will feel like the ship is your home by the time your Tropical Discoveries Crossing of the Atlantic docks in Barbados. Barbados will give guests a relaxing stop over after crossing from Cape Verde.  This island is gives you a truly memorable encounter.  You will enjoy all that this great island has to offer, the attraction of Barbados is there for all to see.  Lovely weather, fantastic beaches and great selection of onshore excursions make Barbados a stop to remember.

Swiftly moving on to St. George’s in Grenada

When you waken up the next morning you will be arriving in Grenada. This island is packed full of reasonably priced restaurants where you can appreciate the local food. Specialities include the fresh seafood caught right from the West Coast shorelines. Excursions and activities to enjoy in Grenada are snorkelling or diving, you an even see an underwater sculpture park and shipwrecks. Prepare to see the underwater world at Bonaire

On this stop you will now be in Bonaire. This island is a haven for birds and you will encounter pelicans, Gannets and pink flamingos just to name a few. The reef fringes the whole island is one of the most beautiful dive sites in the world. Your cruise to Bonaire will give you the possibility to see unforgettable diving or snorkelling coral landscapes in person.

Spend 16 hours in Aruba

Spend all day in Aruba, the Tropical Discoveries Cruise is scheduled for an 8am dock and leaving at midnight. This will let you well and truly see the charming and lively capital city Oranjestad. You can go on a collection of trip from sightseeing by bus or boat to easy hikes or longer sightseeing. You are advised to have appropriate footwear.

From ancient buildings to stunning white beaches

Day 14 and the Curacao leg of your cruise will see you in an ancient city with beautiful buildings centuries old. The centre is part of a UNESCO world heritage site. the superb buildings in the colonial-style fit right in. Day 15 at Colon, Panama

After another whole day at sea you will be well acquainted with your ship, and so on day 16 of this wonderful 18 day cruise we stop off at Panama. We dock at Colon which is located directly on the Caribbean coast, at the Atlantics entrance to the Panama Canal. Around Colon there is a lot to discover like the delightful town of Portobelo and San Lorenzo Fort which is Stunning, in the middle of the forest, with monkeys then arrive on this panoramic view. Just up the coast the Isla Grande is where you can enjoy the white sandy beaches.

Explore or relax in Cartagena, Columbia

On the penultimate stop one of the most beautiful colonial cities in South America opens its doors. Walk through the narrow streets of the old town and enjoy its historic colonial buildings. One of the favourite trips is to canoe and explore the waterways of the surrounding mangrove forests.

After a day at sea we dock in Jamaica

And so the Tropical Discoveries Cruise ends with the famous Montego Bay, Jamaica. This is probably the most famous resort of the island.
